> 8,000,000,000 BGM ----- Solos forms in the Milky Way Galaxy, 3 billion years before Sol (the sun of Earth). Solos is a white star with thirteen planets—including proto-Reptos, proto-Aenya, and the gas giant, Infinity. As these rocky planets cool, the first microorganisms emerge, giving rise to Life. Much later, on Aenya, she will come to be known as the Goddess, or Zöe.
> 100,000 BGM --------------- Early Aenya is covered with oceans and tropical forests. In this environment, a hairless child, Ilma, is born to an early hominid species. Ilma sheds heat more efficiently and can therefore run longer than other animals. With weapons fashioned from wood and obsidian, she becomes the greatest hunter on the planet. Her progeny migrate quickly, dominating Aenya. These early humans subsisted as hunters, gatherers, and farmers, building fires, making simple mud-brick dwellings, and using atlatls, throwing spears, and bows. At around the same time, the amphibious merquid construct elaborate coral cities beneath the ocean. [PoA]
> 10,100 BGM ---------------- On Reptos, the planet closest to Solos, the "Forgotten," or Xexaz, reaches the pinnacle of scientific and philosophical development. But as the centuries pass, the Xexaz become apathetic and slothful and are conquered by the less advanced reptilian race, the Septhera. [AoA]
10,000 – 9000 BGM ------ Solos begins to expand into a red giant, subsuming Reptos, as the Septhera escape their doomed world using technology stolen from the Xexaz, settling upon the neighboring sister planet of Aenya. Merquid hide from Septheran rule in their underwater cities, but many proto-human (ilman) tribes are enslaved. In the West, vast populations migrate into the Mountains of Nimbos, evolving into the avian race, while in the Braid River Valley, the ilman remain undiscovered, keeping to their simple, agrarian traditions. Thus begins the Dark Age of Man. [AoA]
9900 BGM ------------------- A slave named Batal martyrs himself fighting a Septheran prince, inspiring the ilman to rebel against their overlords. The time-traveling historian, Eldin, who records the event, dies millennia before his birth. [AoA]
9800 BGM ----------------- After a century of warfare, the Septhera are exterminated. Humanity assembles under a new banner, calling themselves the Zo (in honor of Zoë, Goddess of Life) to form a more advanced society, and Batal's descendants become the rulers of Aenya.
9000 — 2000 BGM ------ Splendid cities spread across the world: Tennia in the East, Graton in the West, and Selnahar in the South, with Tyrnael located at the planet's northern pole, encompassed by the Crown of Aenya Mountains, serving as the Zo capital. Between 2100 and 2000, the Nova Knights, the military arm of the Zo, fight to dominate the disparate kingdoms of Aenya, and by the end of the millennium, every human yields to the new governing body, the Ascendancy. [PoA]
c. 1999 — 200 BGM ------ South of the Ukko Mountains, the nation-state of Urba, with Tennia as its capital, develops into a hub of science and industry. Xexaz technology is adapted to produce many new inventions, most notably the mind module. Advancements in medicine and bioengineering extend human lifespan to hundreds of years. [TFG]
c. 120 BGM --------------- The mathematician and historian, Eldin, becomes fascinated with filling gaps in the historical record. After discovering “strange angles in space-time,” he disappears. [AoA]
40 BGM ------------------- The philosopher and governor of Tennia, Kjus, warns the Ascendancy against excessive reliance on technology and thinking machines, which he believes is harmful to human identity, arguing that, “Knowledge not tempered by wisdom sows destruction.” Despite his warnings, the Zo elite proceed to transfer their minds into golems in an effort to achieve immortality. Meanwhile, the lesser classes become complacent and apathetic, in part due to rampant information pollution and mind module addiction. [AoA] [TFG]
5 — 0 BGM --------------- Solos' continued expansion heats the atmosphere to inhospitable levels, as researchers scramble to save Aenya from falling into the sun's corona. Tennia, Tyrnael, Graton, and Selnahar evacuate much of their population through space-time portals known as Fantastigates, ignorant of their destination, while Kjus and his team of engineers attempt to save the lower classes and countless native species by creating the Mass Piston, a machine at the core, to swing their homeworld into a more hospitable orbit. The Zo Ascendancy, however, loses faith in the project and instead chooses to merge into a single golem body. After a heated debate with High Counselor Kzell, Kjus refuses to join the Ascendancy's collective mind, deciding to remain on Aenya to live among the primitive Ilmar and face the impending Cataclysm and death as a mortal man. [AoA] [TFG]
0 AGM ----------------------- Aenya is successfully moved by the Mass Piston, but tidal forces devastate the world's ecology. Volcanoes, earthquakes, ash, and acid rain ravage the few remaining species. Humanity edges toward extinction, but for the efforts of Kjus, who leads the last vestiges of the human race into a refuge deep in the mountains of Ukko. [AoA] [TFG]
c. 1 AGM -------------------- After passing too closely to the gas giant, Infinity, Aenya falls under its gravitational influence and becomes tidally locked. As a result, the Ocean evaporates, forming the desert known as the Dead Zones. Simultaneously, the Dark Hemisphere, a frozen, moonlit wasteland, dominates the eastern half of the planet. This sequence of events, known as The Great Cataclysm, marks the second Dark Age of Aenya and the current historical period: After the Greater Moon, when Infinity becomes visible in the sky. [AoA]
c. 1 — 20 AGM -------------- Having survived the Cataclysm, Kjus lives the remainder of his days among the Ilmar, natives of the Ukko Mountains and the lush Braid River Valley, a people untouched by time. There, he lays the foundations for the Monastery of Alashiya, preserving the wisdom of the Zo, while safeguarding the excesses of his past from those who would lack the wisdom to use it. [AoA]

c. 40 AGM — 4999 AGM ---- Mass migrations concentrate the human population along the Potamis River and The One Sea, the last great body of water. Natives of the Dark Hemisphere thrive beneath the planet’s crust, having evolved into two distinct subterranean species separate from humans, the bogren and the horg. Tunnels abandoned by Zo engineers are repurposed, becoming underground cities, or bogren warrens, and vegetation is cultivated via thermal venting from the planet's core. Conflicts arise as bogren, horg, and humans compete for scarce resources. [AoA]

78 AGM ----------------------- The descendants of Tyrnael (called Mythradanaiil by outsiders) begin to slowly rebuild amidst the ruins of their once great civilization, and a new dynasty of kings begins with Aten the I.

1480 AGM -------------------- The Red Plague devastates much of the northern hemisphere. Prince Kormin, 8th descendant of Aten, loses his wife to the disease, and after building her a great shrine, he goes in search of the Land of the Dead to retrieve his beloved from the hands of Skullgrin, god of Death. [PoA]
5000 AGM ------------------- Volcanic eruption destroys the island nation of Aea, forcing its people to evacuate. They carry with them a copy of Eldin’s history, settling along the coast of Sarnath as refugees. But as the human population explodes, the amphibious merquid natives are driven from their homes and into the Sea. Hedonia is founded in the aftermath. [AoA]

6111 AGM ------------------- Princess Lumina of Tyrnael, 33rd descendant of Aten I, breaks through the space-time/reality barrier to summon a unicorn. Some call it magic, others science. The magical creature is captured, and Lumina makes the unicorn the sigil of her kingdom. [PoA]
6300 AGM ------------------ Zogbak the Wrangler's bogren armies sweep across Aenya to the Potamis River. Over a hundred villages are lost, including the fabled city-state of Kormingar. Zogbak’s rule comes to an end when a rival bogren party forms a truce with a legion of displaced Kormingans led by Jennick the Batal.
6495 AGM ---------------- Chief Bushwhack leads his bogren army from the Dark Hemisphere into Tyrnael. In response, Queen Theadra’s six sons march to the defense of their homeland, but every one of them is slain. Adding to the tragedy, Theadra is betrayed when her six daughters are given as a peace offering to Bushwhack. Overwhelmed with grief, the queen takes her own life, and her remains are spread under a tree, though legend has it that Zöe, taking pity on Theadra, transforms her into the tree. The queen’s nephew later inherits the throne, continuing the family bloodline. [PoA]
7000 AGM ---------------- Barbarians ransack Hedonia, creating mistrust of “uncivilized” peoples among its citizens. The city later implements an expansion policy focused on securing its borders, subsuming the nearby coastal states of Thetis and Thalassar, among others, forming the Hedonian Empire.
7036 AGM ----------------- At Sternbrow Hill, the city-states of Barda and Atan clash for a final time, concluding their twenty-seven-year civil war. Hemon the Batal is said to have fought so valiantly as to inspire a lasting truce between the rival factions. [AoA]
8600 AGM ---------------- Northern frontiersmen fashion Hoarfrost, an immense mead hall in the Pewter Mountains. Terraced settlements grow overnight. Walls are built to defend against the subhuman invaders from the east—the bogren and horg —resulting in the formation of Northendell. [AoA]

9435 AGM ------------------ In Hedonia, First Commander Bekkhus murders the High Priest and, with his army, takes control of the city and its territories, declaring himself emperor. His reign of terror lasts nearly a decade, until his own guard kills him in his sleep, and a new High Priest is anointed. [PoA]
10,011 AGM -------------- Xandr is born.
10,035 AGM -------------- Radia Noora, 54th descendant of the Zo, assumes the throne of Aenya. [PoA]
