In zero AGM, the mass piston at the center of Aenya moved the planet out of its natural orbit, to escape the expansion of the sun. The Great Cataclysm that ensued boiled the oceans into deserts, leaving only one major body of water. The coastal cities of the One Sea are among the most prosperous of Aenya. Among these are Hedonia, which controls the Gulf of Sarnath, and the naval powers of Thetis and Thalassar. Deep beneath the surface, humans living near the Sea are contested by merquid, an aquatic anthropoid species that thrive in cities made of coral.
